Inspired by our ever-increasing herb garden, I wanted to create a boozy concoction to capture the flavors of some of my favorite herbs. This cocktail has a wonderful combination of flavors and just a hint of sweetness, the vodka lets the herbs shine and it’s the perfect cocktail to pair with dinner (especially something with seafood or something on the salty side. Have a boozy weekend!
Garden Smash
1/2 Cup Vodka (I recommend Ciroc or Ketel One)
3/4 cup fresh Granny Smith apple juice
3 Tablespoons mint
3 Tablespoons basil
1 tablespoon Tarragon
1 cup raspberries
1 cup of crushed ice
Juice apples, set aside. Muddle mint and raspberries, add crushed ice, vodka and apple juice. Shake and pour in glass over ice. Top with 2-3 fresh raspberries.
